1.1 Christine moves to Riverview

Christine Sander was 19 years old when she decided to move from home – for good. Her mum, who she had lived with as the only child her whole life had met a new man and moved to Hong Kong. She could have joined them of course. It was not like she was abandoned, she just didn’t feel like moving to the other side of the world like some fifth wheel in her mothers love nest. On the other hand she didn’t want to stay in Smådala, Sweden either. Most of her friends had moved away to other cities to attend college.

Since her mother sold the house, Christine had to find a place on her own. Well, her mothers new husband was some kind of realestate agent and actually gave her a lot. It’s just a piece of land, but some day, I think It’ll be really worth somthing. Don’t sell it now. That’s my advice”.

It was in a place called Riverview, a town Christine had never heard of. But what did she have to loose? Only with a few belongings and a small amount of cash she decided to leave to start a new life for her.

Her mission was to build up a successful life and become what she allways had dreamt for: A star news anchor. She was a bookworm, had allways liked reading and had since second grade been writing her own stories. She wanted to become a a journalist and when Christine closed her eyes she could even picture here self in front of a computer writing her own books.

So, here she was. It was a giant lot. And Christine was tired after the trip.

She decided she had to spend that money really wisely.

Shower? Toilet? Well, that and even walls and roof over her head was considered luxury at that moment. But she had to find a job. To get money. Really soon.

She went to town to visit the office building were she new the big media company had their premises. And what did she find in the reception if it wasn’t an ad on the notice board. They were hiring paper deliverers. She filled in an application and got the job immediately! Jippie!
